FINAL POST

What you most enjoyed writing about, and why? I truly enjoyed writing about the two photos in my blog, "2 Photos of Moments in Life." The first photo, taken in 2009 when I was five years old, captured a precious moment at my great-grandmother’s house. I loved describing the atmosphere of the house, the lavender-colored plume flowers in the garden, and my father's artistic talent. Writing about that memory made me reflect on how much that house meant to me, as well as the importance of family connections. The second photo, taken in 2022 with my high school friends, was also a highlight. It was my first time traveling without my parents, and I got to share the joy of exploring a new place with close friends. Writing about those memories allowed me to relive the fun and freedom of that trip, which was one of the best vacations I've ever had. Both photos brought back beautiful memories, and writing about them felt like a way of preserving those moments forever. What you l...

Something Special

Something special I have is a stuffed animal that my boyfriend gave me. It is a very soft white tiger plush, and it smells amazing. My boyfriend gave it to me without planning to (it wa a spontaneous gesture). his mom had bought several stuffed animals to use as prizes in a raffle, and one of them happened to be "goku", the white tiger. We both fell in love with it at the first sight, so we decided to keep it. We named goku after the main character of Dragon Ball, one of our favorite series. Goku has become more than just a plush toy to me; it’s like a source of comfort and emotional support. Whenever I feel anxious or stressed, whether it’s because of an upcoming test, a bad grade, or just the pressures of daily life, I hug Goku, and it immediately helps calm me down. At night, when my anxiety is often at its worst, having Goku close by makes a huge difference. Holding it tightly allows me to relax and fall asleep peacefully, no matter how overwhelming the day has been. It’s...

2 Photos of moments in life

This photo is from 2009, when I was about 5 years old. My dad took it at my maternal great-grandmother's house. She was an English teacher and even became a school principal. My great-grandmother had a huge house with a corridor that led to an inner garden full of plume flowers, which stand out in the background of the photo with their lavender color.  My father took the picture to draw me later; he draws exceptionally well and has an incredible talent. I don’t have a photograph of the drawing, but I can describe it: it’s done in gray tones, drawn freehand with graphite, capturing every detail of me and the background.  Currently, my great-grandmother's house belongs to another family, but I still pass by it often since my grandmother’s house is connected to it through a door.   Here I am with my high school friend in Papudo. We went there for our fourth year trip in December 2022, at that time, I had already turned 18. It was the first time I traveled without my p...
